Bob Fisher (Year Elected - 2015)
Elected three times as Ealing 1st XI captain, Bob skippered the club’s inaugural League match and their National Cup Final side. In his lengthy career at the club he kept wicket in all 5 XIs effecting 1250 catches and an astonishing 510 stumpings.
By the time this book is published he will have succeeded his great friend John Poore as Club President. Along with fellow MCCL Vice-President Alan Price and John Lindley he played in Ealing’s first colts match in 1955 and all three were fit enough to play in the 50th anniversary game. He was also capped by Middlesex 2nd XI.
Away from cricket Bob has been Chairman of Isthmian League side Hanwell Town FC since 1987 having previously played 750 times over the years.
